Twentyfivenineteen is a collaboration between Michelle de Vaan and Ilke van Deventer. Together, they are working on a project that will be completed in the year 2519 – a little less than 500 years from now. The question is: how do we reach that year? By sharing working methods, ways of thinking, and ideas with current generations, they aim to reach future generations. The plan is for these future generations to complete the work in 2519. These messages will take on a life of their own and evolve independently toward an outcome that is, for them, still unknown.
